This 2012 Bad Boy Outlaw 5400 Commercial Zero-Turn Mower is a heavy-duty commercial mower built for professional landscapers, municipalities, ranches, and large property owners. Designed with Bad Boy's rugged all-steel construction and proven commercial components, this mower delivers excellent durability, dependable performance, and a high-quality cut. Whether you're maintaining residential properties, commercial landscapes, parks, or acreage, the Outlaw series is known for its reliability and productivity.
The mower is equipped with a 54-inch fabricated all-steel cutting deck featuring a three-blade design for superior mowing performance. The deck provides an adjustable cutting height from approximately 1 to 5 inches, allowing operators to adapt to a variety of turf conditions. An electric PTO clutch provides smooth blade engagement, while the foot-assisted deck lift makes height adjustments quick and convenient.
Power comes from a commercial-grade V-twin gasoline engine (engine model varies by serial number and may be either Briggs & Stratton Commercial or Kohler Command), delivering dependable power for demanding mowing conditions. Dual commercial Hydro-Gear hydrostatic transmissions provide smooth zero-turn maneuverability, responsive steering, and travel speeds of up to approximately 10–12 MPH for outstanding productivity.
Operator comfort is enhanced by a high-back suspension seat with armrests, ergonomic twin steering levers, folding ROPS, electric key start, hour meter, and a large-capacity fuel tank designed for extended mowing between fill-ups. The welded steel frame, heavy-duty spindle assemblies, and commercial driveline make this mower well suited for long service life.
