JOHN DEERE 8640H 4WD TRACTOR
John Deere 8640H four-wheel-drive articulated tractor, currently being used in the field and working at the time of listing. Tractor is shown performing tillage work and remains in active farm service. There is a knock which is believed to be a carrier bearing. Seller states after hearing the knock they got it looked at, but did not continue running the tractor with the knock.

The tractor has a noticeable knock while operating. The owner has had two different individuals inspect/listen to the tractor, and both indicated that they believe the noise is coming from a bearing on the driveshaft that turns continuously. This diagnosis has not been independently confirmed, and no guarantee is being made as to the exact cause of the noise.
The tractor is currently being used in the field despite the knock and is shown working in the photographs. Prospective buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect the tractor, listen to it operate, and make their own determination regarding the source and extent of the mechanical issue prior to bidding.
